Massey Hauling Co., Inc. was established in 1955 by William N. Massey.  We started as a lumber transporter but have evolved into a specialized dump operation hauling various bulk commodities.  We provide commercial and industrial material loading, transportation, excavation, site preparation, screening, load brokering and more. Our dependable service has earned us many satisfied clients.

The fleet consist mainly of late model Kenworth and Peterbilt tractors and triaxles.  All units are maintained according to the requirements of the Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). In addition to the truck fleet, we have bulldozers, loaders and other heavy equipment for handling excavation, site preparation, bulk transfer, bulk loading and screening.  We are always looking for long-term commitments with our clients and are capable of acquiring new assets to provide premium service designed for each client.

In order to meet the safety requirements of the DOT, FHWA, Mine Safety Health Administrations (MSHA) and Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA), we hire only experienced professional employees.  These professionals have a positive attitude toward their job and are always open for learning new ways of maintaining safe operations.  Employees have MSHA training (MSHA #M83); job specific training and some employees have CPR and industrial standard first aid training. 

We periodically update equipment so that we have quality equipment with an impressive appearance.  Each piece of equipment is maintained so that our image and our client’s image to the public, reflects a well maintained operation.

For our clients protection, we carry the appropriate limits of the following insurance:  general liability, auto liability, auto environmental liability, property environmental liability, cargo, and workers compensation.  Other coverages are carried as needed to protect any exposure deemed necessary.

Some clients require a high level of security and training.  We have Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) employees so our drivers are able to enter sites monitored by the U.S. Coast Guard and the Department of Homeland Security.  Also available are HAZMAT trained drivers.  We currently have security measures in place and can implement new ones to satisfy our client’s security concerns.
